Legends say that Rai Parveen Mahal was built by King Indramani for his favourite concubine Rai Parveen. The outer wall of the fort stands 3.2 km (2 miles) in length and 35 m in height. A steep road winds upwards to the fort. On both sides of the road, cut deep into the rock and towering over the proceedings, are scores of Jain statues. The first to come to mind are the Dilwara Temples, which are the finest examples of Jain art and architecture. The plain marbles of the exteriors do not prepare the visitor for the richly embellished interiors. Thank you for your mail of date. Please note the cottages at Desert Resort-Mandawa are air conditioned. With regard to your suggestion for hotel Jamuna Resort- the same appears to be a budget property and are not sure about the up keeping & maintenance. Where as Desert Mandawa is a tried & tested property offers air conditioned accommodation (instead of air cooled rooms at Jamuna Resort) and is definitely a better option in Shekhavati region.

Thank you for your mail about hotels and domestic flights confirmation. This mail is for presenting for your approval several minor changes that we suggest in our itinerary:

1. Day 2 (Friday the 1st of August: In Delhi). We like to take an all day tour of Delhi beginning early in the morning visiting a) the Lotus Temple, b) the Qutab Minar complex, c) the Humayun's Tomb, d) the India Gate and the President's Palace, e) the Sikh's Gold Temple, and f) the Laksmi Narayan Temple. After lunch we like to go down to Old Delhi to visit g) the Red Fort, h) the Jama Masjid, i) the Raj Ghat, j) the Shanti Vana, and k) the Firoz Shah Kotla......perfectly fine with us

2. Day 8 (Thursday the 7th of August: In Agra). We must visit Taj Mahal and Red Fort instead to go Mathura because Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays)...thanks for your observation........perectly fine with us

3. Day 9 Friday the 8th: In Agra. We must visit Mathura and Vrindavan...OK with us

4. Day 10 Saturday the 9th: In Jaipur after spending time walking around the downtown, hunting and haggling souvenirs, we like visit in the evening the Laksmi Narayan Temple and after crossing the road to have dinner in Rambagh Palace hotel....fine with us..the supplement for having dinner at Ram Bagh Palace instead of Mansingh Palace is USD 10 per person.

5. Day 13 (Tuesday the 12th). We wanted suppress Chittorgarh with object to have one day more in Shekhawati for celebrating our last days in India. Then we will drive from Pushkar to Udaipur directly. Days 13 and 14 we will stay in Udaipur. Day 15 in Mount Abu. Days 16 and 17 in Jodhpur. Days 18 and 19 in Jaisalmer. And day 20 visits Deshnok (Karni Mata) and stay in Bikaner....noted you wish to forego your visit & stay at Chittorgarh and would instead pre-pone your rest of the tour till Bikaner by one day which is fine with us. Please advise if in order to amend the hotel reservations to as per your suggestion.

6. Days 21 and 22 we like to change the Castle hotel of Mandawa by Mukundgarh Fort hotel because we like to have in the last day one good hotel with swimming pool for relaxing and making our last dinner with a sweet celebration. What do you think about this change? Is it correct? What is your opinion about this hotel? What is your opinion about all these changes?....Mukundgarh as an alternate to Castle Mandawa is not suggested as the former hotel is in bad condition due to poor maintenance. We have in fact stopped using this hotel to avoid any complaints from our guests. If you are looking at a hotel with pool we suggest you to then stay at Desert Mandawa in Mandawa which has a swimming pool.

7. Still we have a very strong doubt: I have a very good remember of the friendly people of Jaipur, but it isn't the same with Agra, and we have the day 8 from the afternoon to the night at leisure in Agra. What do you think about to visit half-day Mathura this morning and visit Taj Mahal and Red Fort in the afternoon and to spend the day 9 in Jaipur?.....well you have too many sightseeings to cover in Agra  which although is possible in one day should you wish to stay an extra night in Jaipur instead of AgraTherefore do advise us of your preference enable amend the accommodation accordingly.
